Aris a 4 year old orangutan off Monkey World (the largest primate rescue and rehabilitation centre in the world) was put to sleep after he suffered what appeared to be a stroke after having surgery on his knee a couple of days before!! Poor Aris...he was soooooo adorable and I cried when they said his condition didn't improve over night, but they didn't want him to suffer and now he won't!! All of the staff said they would miss him terribly and they showed clips of him when he was a baby (he grew up in the centre with the baby gorillas) I'll miss him tooo but I'm sure he is now in a happy place!! :)
